dc.description.abstract | During sinking the hole, it is necessary to determine place of pneumatic punch and its spatial orientation. Underground radar is universal facility for detecting the underground tools. The radar is installed on the working tool or near it. Gradient method of detecting the radiator of rotary magnetic field has been considered. The radiator is located on the working tool. The method makes it possible to eliminate special sensors of heading and pitch, because structure of rotary magnetic field and its gradient properties make it possible to measure distance, heading, and pitch by means of the measuring instruments located on surface. Tests of the radar have confirmed efficiency of selected circuit and design solutions. | |
