dc.description.abstract Destruction of rocks under shock load action has been considered. In this case, it is necessary to predict propagation of crack at known external load. The prediction is possible in case of calculation of stressed state of rocks around the crack. Mathematical model of the stressed rocks has been developed. The model provides numerical method of solving the three-dimensional problem about the stressed state. Algorithm has been created for finding the specific elastic energy released during propagation of the crack. This makes it possible to determine place of destruction of rock by means of Griffits criterion. Value of maximum force is also determined.
