Abstract:
Seismostratigraphic study in the outer shelf, an upper part of the Black Sea continental slope, and in the Quaternary depression superimposed on the shelf defined three stages in accumulation of Karangatian sediments, which are divisible into seven episodes. The results are consistent with biostratigraphic subdivision of coastal-marine and continental sequences.
