Abstract:
Крупнейшими структурами Скифской плиты являются Азовский и Каневско-Березанский валы. Азовский вал вытянутое валообразное поднятие, погребенное под осевой частью впадины Азовского моря. В виде пологой дуги, выгнутой в северо-северо-западном направлении, он протягивается от западного до восточного побережья на расстояние более чем на 200 км при ширине до 50. Продолжением Азовского вала на востоке является Каневско-Березанский вал протяженностью около 300 км. Как и Азовский он имеет принадвиговую природу и подстилается складчатым комплексом пермо-триаса. Вместе они формируют гигантскую складчато-надвиговую систему, совпадающую в плане с погребенным раннекиммерийским складчатым поясом протяженностью более 500 км. С севера и северо-востока последний сопряжен с позднепалеозойским Предскифийским краевым прогибом, выполненным мощным комплексом моласс. Прискладчатое крыло прогиба перекрыто шарьяжами и надвигами смежного складчатого пояса. Краевой прогиб перспективен для поисков месторождений нефти и газа. Большой интерес представляет прискладчатое крыло прогиба, где могут быть сосредоточены значительные запасы нефти и газа в поднадвиговой зоне. Установление погребенного палеозойского Предскифийского прогиба вносит существенные коррективы в представления о перспективах нефтегазоносности региона, поскольку это позволяет говорить о появлении не только нового направления геологоразведочных работ, но и дает основание более оптимистично оценить перспективы открытия в доплитном комплексе Азовского и Каневско-Березанского валов и мезозойско-кайнозойском чехле относительно слабо изученных центральной и северной частях Азовского моря не только газовых, но и нефтяных залежей. Источником углеводородов могут служить палеозойско-нижнемезозойские отложения, выполняющие Предскифийский прогиб, которые в силу своих формационных особенностей и термобарических условий залегания потенциально нефтегазоматеринских толщ могли генерировать нефть и газ.
