dc.description.abstract | Parquet-type nanoblock structure of isoferroplatinum crystals was first discovered with atomic force microscopy (AFM). Fourier and wavelet transforms were applied to the AFM topographic data to reveal the characteristic scales and self-similarity of elements of nanoblock structure, indicating a quasicrystalline structure of isoferroplatinum. | |
