dc.description.abstract A fine-grained oval 5 x 7 mm inclusion (designated ALD-03) from the Allende meteorite was analyzed. A delta D value of -75 per mil was determined which may characterize the composition of hydrogen in other silicate and hydrosilicate mineral phases that occurred at the early stage of solar-system evolution. If the accretion of the terrestrial planets occurred on the basis of such material, the value detla D = -75 per mil can also characterize the primordial isotopic composition of water-containing mineral phases of the primordial earth.
