dc.description.abstract | The composition and structural features of megacrystals of garnets, ilmenites, monoclinic pyroxenes, K-Na-feldspars occurring as inclusions in the Cenozoic alkaline basalts of Mongolia have been studied by means of X-ray diffractometry, i.r.-spectroscopy and electrone microscopy. The density of megacrystals has been determined by means of hydrostatic weighing. The high-temperature and deep formation of megacrystals are discussed. | |
