dc.description.abstract | The state of dehydroxylation was studied after heating a homoionic and cv montmorillonite at various temperatures for different times. Spontaneous rehydroxylation occurred under ambient conditions at a relative humidity of approx. 55%. The results indicate that heating rate and duration of heating are important to prepare dehydroxylated cv montmorillonite. | |
