dc.description.abstract | The results of the detailed study of carbon-bearing mineralization in tectonites of the Ospino-Kitoi massif, including data on petrochemistry, geochemistry of tectonites, and composition of carbonaceous substances (electron microscopy), are considered. Based on these data, a new inversion model of the formation of carbonaceous tectonites is proposed. The presented thermodynamic calculations confirm the probability of graphite deposition from the gaseous phase at the early reductive stage of tectonite formation. The chemical composition of Au from carbonaceous tectonites was studied with a microprobe using a CAMEBAX ST-50 microanalyzer. The extraction atomic absorption analysis of Au and atomic absorption analysis of Pt and Pd revealed a distinct correlation between the carbon content in tectonites and variations in the Au, Pt, and Pd contents. The high Au and Pt contents in some samples can serve as the basis for discriminating a new type of complex Au-Pt mineralization represented by highly carbonaceous tectonites with a low sulfide content. | |
