dc.description.abstract This article analyses the effectiveness of operational methods in processing and visualising data of electromagnetic sounding systems with either artificial or controlled field excitation, mainly the Laplace transformation where substantial and positive s values are used. Accurate boundary conditions of impedance type on a closed interface between media differing in their electromagnetic parameters in the s-domain, which extend the well-known Rytov-Leontovich model for harmonic conditions, are established and their physical interpretation is offered.
