dc.description.abstract Process of hydraulic breakage of rock with the use of viscous fluid has been considered. Mathematical model of the process has been developed with the use of differential equations. Various factors influencing the conditions of the hydraulic breakage have been taken into account in the model. The model has made it possible to provide exact solution of plane problem of the hydraulic breakage. Strict statement of the problem has been performed. Comparison of the solution with known asymptotic approximations in case of small and large leaks has been provided. It has been shown that the exact solution differs from asymptotic approximations used at the present during designing.
