dc.description.abstract Reserves of natural bitumen are very large in Russian Federation. However, difficulties have been noted during production of the natural bitumen with the use of wells. Single thermal action on bitumen seam is not efficient. In connection with this, method of vibroseismic field action on bitumen seam has been developed. Results of large-scale investigations of complex action of thermal and vibroseismic fields on physical processes in bitumen seam have been considered. Action of vibration on equipment and materials of the well has also been analyzed. Results of the analysis have shown that negative action of vibration on the engineering structures is absent.
