dc.description.abstract The new variational statement is suggested for the elliptical equations systems describing behavior of structurally-inhomogeneous media. The statement is implemented in the form of a calculation algorithm. The inverse problem of determination of the boundary conditions and the calculation region orientation by the point data of deformations measurement is solved. That allows one to faithfully model the stressed-deformed state of a rock massif.
