dc.description.abstract Behavior of semi-brittle materials in case of various loads has been considered. Process of loosening the semi-brittle materials under action of elastoplastic loads has been discussed. Experimental investigations of the process have been performed. Three main deformations of the materials have been measured. This has made it possible to determine influence of kind of stressed state on mode of materials loosening during active loading, unloading, and reloading. Destruction of the materials under conditions of non-uniform three-dimensional stressed state has been analyzed. Action of static and dynamic loads on the materials has been considered.
