dc.description.abstract Scheme for concentrating the zeolite-bearing basaltoids of Margintujskoe volcanic field in Baikal region has been offered. Comparative study of physicochemical and adsorption properties of synthetic and natural shabasite separated from basalts has been carried out. Results of the study have shown that separation of shabasite concentrates is possible with the use of relatively simple scheme of electromagnetic concentration. It has found that adsorption properties of natural shabasite are similar to those of synthetic shabasite despite differences in physicochemical characteristics. The natural shabasite can be used for manufacturing the zeolites.
