dc.description.abstract Problems connected with rock burst hazard have been considered. Mathematical model of rock burst hazard has been developed. The model makes it possible to calculate risks of rock bursts. In this case, geodynamic hazard can be determined according to indirect criteria. New version of nomograph for evaluating the rock burst hazard according to calm yield in process of blast-hole drilling in exploited anthracite seams has been obtained. In case of the nomograph using, random emissions during production measurements can be neglected. Hazardous situations which are not recorded by means of traditional procedures can be determined with the use of the new version.
