dc.description.abstract The gorgonopian Suchogorgon golubevi had a streptostylic quadrate-quadratojugal complex firmly fixed in the articular condyle of the lower jaw. In the vertical position of the complex, the lower jaw was depressed. The mouth closed and opened by a wobbling motion in the joint formed by the dorsal condyle of the quadrate complex and the squamosal.
