dc.description.abstract Seismic Electric Signals are transmitted through the earth by following diffusion type equations. This, when also considering the heterogeneity of the earth's crust, plays a key-role in the explanation of the recent finding according to which the electric field "arrives" before the time-derivative of the magnetic field. We show that this finding is probably not detectable by the usual Space Techniques
