dc.description.abstract This work studies the fine structure of beams of three-dimensional (3D) periodic internal waves (PIW) using analytical and numerical methods. Taking into consideration the symmetry of internal waves, the source chosen is a disk of radius R that lies on a solid horizontal surface and vertically oscillates with frequency ω and small velocity amplitude U.
