dc.description.abstract This work demonstrates that the formation of fluid systems in the consolidated crust of various geological structures is mainly controlled by geothermal conditions, the age, and the character of tectonic processes. Two principal types of fluid systems are defined. The first type is confined to ancient platforms and shields. The second type is developed in areas of Mesozoic-Cenozoic tectonomagmatic activation. It also presents typical parameters of such fluid systems. The geophysical features of geological structures and character of deformation processes allowed us to define several sub-types of fluid systems in each of the above-mentioned types. It is established that development of fluid systems depends on specific features of geothermal and tectonomagmatic settings. At the same time, this process substantially influences the formation of these settings.
