Аннотация
We analyzed asphaltenes of crude oils and bitumens in dispersed organic matter from various regions of the West Siberian block and the Siberian craton. The West Siberian crude oil samples were collected from Jurassic and Cretaceous deposits. We have also investigated two crude oils from the Siberian craton. The asphaltenes were pyrolyzed under flowing helium by continuously raising the temperature at a rate of 25°C/minute. The concentration of hydrocarbons in the asphaltene sample was calculated from analysis of the pyrolysis products by means of a flame ionization detector, which also provided ultimate-analysis data. The study shows that pyrolysis of asphaltenes combined with ultimate analysis provides rapid information on the genetic nature of the DOM and the structural properties of asphaltenes.
