dc.description.abstract Gold mineralisation is the result of the paragenetic interaction of magmatic (mafic and salic), regionally metamorphic and metasomatic formations. The substratum is the source of the ore material, and the paragenesis is formed here; the mobilisation of the gold is due to the action of regional metamorphism on the substratum, and its migration is associated with hydrothermal metasomatic changes caused by the crystallisation of the deep-seated source of granitoids. These changes are localised and ore-formation occurs in high-gradient conditions on the outer parts of the zonal metamorphic complexes.
