dc.description.abstract The application of new capabilities of audiomagnetotelluric sounding (AMTS) is explained using the example of the Nagolny ore area (the Bobrikovo gold and polymetallic deposit). Using for the first time the newly developed technology for processing audiomagnetotelluric sounding field data, a high resolution was achieved for a complex geological section. A geoelectrical model of the deposit was constructed and parameters for identification of an ore-shoot were specified in accordance with AMTS and VES-IP (vertical electric sounding-induced polarisation).
