dc.description.abstract | Investigation included implantation of high energy cobalt ions into lamellas of synthetic rutile, and spectra of absorption, luminescence and luminescence excitation have been registered and interpreted. ThuSj the long wave luminescence (820 nm) of Ti^J ions in rutile has been discovered; its intensity increases after the cobalt implantation. Analysis of luminescence spectra and spectra of luminescence excitation has allowed-to correct the scheme of electron levels of rutile energy and to show, in it, the energy levels of admixture Ti3+ ions occupying vacant octahedra with the Сц, symmetry in structure of the mineral. | |
