Abstract:
Oil-and-gas (hereafter, petroleum) fields are in the category of hardly recoverable deposits. If the oil viscosity exceeds 150 cP, the difficulty of the development of such fields increases significantly. At present, there are practically no alternative for various thermic methods of impact on the bed simulation. In this paper, we substantiate the possibility of developing petroleum fields with high-viscous oil (HVO) on the basis of simpler low-cost technologies.
