Аннотация
The paper considers main peculiarities of neotectonic structure in respect to epicentre distribution in the Russian Far East South. For this purpose, epicentre distribution of earthquakes with M≥1.8 and M≥3.3, the averaged Bouguer field Δg with 50 km step, amplitudes of the vertical neotectonic movements, density of the surface (H≤5 km), crustal (H≤30 km) and also regional faults obtained from processing of data of the aerial photographs and satellite images have been analysed. Based on the cluster analysis it is represented a non-conventional division of neotectonic blocks of the first order into blocks of the higher orders which differ in seismic activity. It has been shown that zones with increased and high seismicity are not always associated with activation of deep-seated faults. A range of seismogenic zones weakly correlate with the neotectonic peculiarities displayed in modern relief and, apparently, related to the deep processes occurring in the lower crust, which needs further investigation.
