Calculations of parameters of movement of rock blocks during large-scale dynamic action have been performed. Results of the calculations have been presented. Evaluations made according to analytic models and experimental data have been compared. This makes it possible to interpret the experimental data and to determine the most probable mechanism of arising the differential movements along interblock boundaries. Dependence of parameters of the block movement on explosion power, source distance, interblock boundary properties, rock stressed state has been evaluated. Several mechanisms of arising the residual stresses have been determined.
