EURAMERIAN ARTICULATES IN THE CARBONIFEROUS FLORA OF THE KUZNETSK BASIN (ZAVIALOVO LOCALITY)

Abstract

The finding of Euramerian articulates represented by vegetative and generative organs of bowmaniteans and calamostacheans in Carboniferous deposits of the Kuznetsk Basin indicates a short warming episode in the Alykaevskii and Mazurovskii periods. The new species Bowmanites zavialovensis (strobili of bovvmaniteans) andAstemphyllites coniferifonnis (leafed shoots of calamostacheans) are described.
