A detailed zonation of the Induan Stage of northeastern Asia has been performed in sections in the eastern upper Yana region. It reveals a decrease in the volume of the Triassic System in the northern direction as a result of the elimination of basal zones. It is concluded that the boreal standard of the Permian-Triassic boundary should be sought primarily in the south of the eastern upper Yana region within the basin of the Vostochnaya Khandyga River.
