NEW AND RARE SPECIES OF CARBONIFEROUS SPIRIFERIDS FROM THE DONETS BASIN

Abstract

Three new species of Carboniferous brachiopods from the orders Spiriferida and Spiriferinida are described. There species belong to three different families: Anthracospirifer solenensis belongs to the Spiriferidae (subfamily Sergospiriferinae); Anthracothyrina peractionis belongs to the Choristidae (subfamily Angiospiriferinae); and Gjelispinifera licharevi belongs to the Reticulariinidae (order Spiriferinida).
