According to the proposed hypothesis, cosmic factors were primarily responsible for the flourishing of life on Earth over the last 600 Ma. We believe that the solar orbit first reached the galactic corotation radius in the Vendian and Cambrian. This triggered bombardment of the Earth's surface by galactic comets with high contents of phosphorus, calcium, and other chemical elements needed for life activity.
