Studies of liquid-vapor inclusions in quartz of preore sulfide-barite-quartz veins and in postore quartz breccias of the Druzhnoe deposit, one of largest in the El'kon ore district, have shown that the solutions of the preore and postore stages were middle- and low-temperature alkaline carbonate hydrotherms characterized by a high K/Na ratio and an appreciable concentration of sulfate sulfur. Similarity of the salt and vapor composition of solutions in the preore and postore stages makes it possible to apply their characteristics to the ore brannerite stage proper, which is devoid of distinct vein mineralization.
