| dc.description.abstract | Porphyry copper–molybdenum deposits lead in the world with respect to reserves and mining of copper and molybdenum. However, unlike porphyry molybdenum–tungsten deposits, many deposits of the first type also contain significant amounts of Au and Ag. They are typically formed in geodynamic settings of the continental margin and island-arc volcanic arcs. Their geology and formation conditions were studied in detail and considered elsewhere. | |
