Processes of heat and mass exchange at core-mantle boundary determine operation of thermochemical machine of the Earth and global geodynamics of the Earth. At the core-mantle boundary, thermochemical plumes are formed which determine tectonics of hot fields. The thermochemical plumes can be formed at the core-mantle boundary in presence of heat flux from external core and during local supply of chemical additive decreasing the melting temperature near lower mantle bottom. Analysis of process of plumes formation has been performed.
