The paper reports on studies of geological singularities of the sea floor in one of the regions of the Indian Ocean. The studies relied on photographs of the sea floor by means of a Mikrob-70 stereocamera. The length of the traverses on which photography was done was 10 to 15 km, with the individual film frames separated by distances of the order of a few to a few dozen meters. The distance between the measurements was thus small enough to enable recording of all significant changes in the sea floor landscapes along the traverse and the modes of their gradations from structure to structure.
