ON SOME WELL- AND III-POSED PROBLEMS IN SEISMOMETRY

Abstract

Formulations and algorithms are considered for inverse problems in seismometry as expressed by Volterra integral equations of the first and second kind. Mathematical experiments were carried out to evaluate the resolution of techniques based on the models used.
