Аннотация
Reconstruction of five episodes of continental drift and connected geological events during Carboniferous-Permian period in Kyzylkum-Tianshan region are presented. Reconstructions are based upon a paleomagnetically supported idea of the left (counterclockwise) rotation of Karakum-Tarim terrain group, with its drift from equatorial latitudes to the northern hemisphere, and its final merging with Paleokazakhstan. Magmatic and other thermal events of Early Permian (about 275-280 Ma) are considerred to be mantle-originated and relatively independent of subductive-collisional process. Nevertheiless mantle plume and lithospheric collisions are well-connected in time and involved into forming collisional oroclines, local bending and rotation of paleomagnetic declinations.
