Calculation of gravity from satellite altimetry data (hereafter, satellite determinations) faces the problem of accuracy of the results obtained. The uncertainty of satellite determinations was constantly assessed both in the Institute of Physics of the Earth (IFZ) and abroad. In this work, the results of satellite determinations of gravity are compared with measurements with marine gravimeters.
