Long-term functioning of mining industry in the region has given rise to development of technogenic sys-tems, in which hypergene processes provide crystallization of secondary polymineral formations. They are repre-sented as crusts (up to 50 cm in thickness), sinters, incrustations, veinlets and stalactite-stalagmite forms develo-ped over waste dumps, tailings, on walls and timbering of mining workings, in host rock, etc. Study of this newly formed mineral substances by roentgenostructural, electron-microscopic, IR-spectroscopic methods and chemi-cal analyses has detected among them chalcanthite, alunogen, siderotil, pickeringite, halotrichite, starkeyite, diet-richite, and some other minerals.
