dc.description.abstract	In eastern Chukotka, acid alkaline rocks of supposedly Tertiary age have been found within the Amguema–Kanchalan volcanic field (AKVF) of the Okhotsk–Chukotka volcanoplutonic belt (OCVB) during systematic prospecting as early as in the 1950s–1960s. Two main varieties mapped as comendites and alkali granites–granite porphyry have been distinguished among the rocks.
