Аннотация

The Kalguta deposit is a typical representative of the molybdenum-rare metal-tungsten ore association that is widespread in Gornyi Altai. The deposit is confined to the late Hercynian Kalguta Massif of leucocratic rare metal granites that intrude Devonian acid volcanic rocks. Ore mineralization is developed as a series of steep wolframite-molybdenite-quartz veins with chalcopyrite, bismuthinite, and beryl. The vertical mineralization amplitude is more than 500 m. Graphite makes up a single association with quartz and sulfides (chalcopyrite, pyrite, bismuthinite, and Bitennantite) in late mineral associations of the major ore formation stage. The results obtained testify to an active participation of carbon in ore formation. The carbon was probably derived from deep-seated reduced metalliferous fluids.
