The gold-silver ores of eastern Yakutia abound with 'mustard' gold. In the upper ore levels that material consists of supergene antimony oxides. At greater depths it consists of hypogene antimony oxides and stibnite. It was in association with these minerals that auroantimonate was found, a hitherto unknown compound of gold and antimony. The authors studied in detail the two largest auroantimonate segregations from unoxidized gold-antimony ore at a depth of 150 m from the surface. Study materials, methods and results are discussed.
