There are good grounds to correlate the Lower and Upper Sinian in China with the Baikalian and Yudomian (Vendian) in Siberia, correspondingly. Their comparison, based on event stratigraphy, is corrected by data on stratigraphy of glacier deposits, ediakarian fauna, microfossils, fossil small shells, remains of worm-like organisms, ichnofauna, and stable isotopes. To justify this correlation, the data on the East-European Platform, Finmarken, and Australia are used.
