A new unit of the morphogenetic system, the stemma Duplocolpoidipolles, is established. In respect to the development of the germinative apparatus, the stemma immediately follows the stemma Duplospores Pflug., which embraces sporoid, bipolar, trilete pollen grains. The generic taxonomy of the pollen of these stemmas is discussed.
