The gravity forward and inverse problems are solved for 2-D problem with account of the spherical configuration of the Earth on two profiles in the Western Pacific margin. Results of computations are compared with previously solved problems which do not take into account the influence of sphericity. Comparison shows that due regard for the spherical configuration of the Earth for these profiles leads to a change in the regional background and insignificant density changes.
