ON ONE ANALOG DURING CREATION OF POWERFUL VIBRATION-SEISMIC SOURCES

Abstract

Operation of powerful vibration-seismic sources has been considered. They are used for excitation of seismic waves in geological medium. The first developed vibration-seismic sources are characterized by some disadvantages. The disadvantages should be eliminated. It has been shown that vibration-seismic sources are analogous to the rolling stock of railroad transport. Schemes of loading the rolling stock and vibration-seismic sources have been compared. It has been shown that use of experience of calculating and designing the railroad facilities in creation of efficient vibration-seismic sources is advisable.
