Аннотация

Cobalt minerals were detected in garnet-hedenbergite skarns of the well known Dalnegorskoye boron-silicate deposit; previously they hadn't been mentioned or described in any publications. Cobalt mineralization is represented there by skutterudite forming as classic cubic crystals of cube-octahedral habit, so the prismatic forms which aren't typical for this mineral. Besides, those skarns contain erythrite, roselite, cobalt-lotharmeyerite and an unknown black cobalt arsenate with CoO : AS2O5 ratio close to 5 : 1. The cobalt mineralization occurs in limestones of Tetyukhinskaya series and is regarded as a sequence of Senonian-Paleocene intrusion of igneous rocks of the mainly medium composition.
