Opportunities for improving the oil recovery of petroleum pools have been considered. Experimental and theoretical investigations of mechanisms of vibration stimulation of petroleum fields have been performed. Mathematical model of process of petroleum production has been developed. Results of the investigation have shown that resonant oscillations arise in block seams. These oscillations create conditions for generation of ultrasonic waves. The wave can destroy petroleum films in interblock contacts of collector. The films decrease permeability of the seams and petroleum recovery. Petroleum recovery is improved in case of the film destruction.
