U-Pb- and Ar-Ar-geochronologic data are presented, obtained for Posolnenskii and Nizhnekanskii massifs located in the central and south-western parts of Angaro-Kanskii block and breaking through the metamorphic rocks of Enisei and Kan series. As established, granitoids of Posolnenskii and Nizhnekanskii massifs were formed in the Late Cambrian-Middle Ordovician periods in the range from 510 to 455 ma. These data allow considering their formation as a reflection of Early Caledonian collision-accretion events widely manifested in the Central-Asian folded belt.
