Аннотация
The carbonaceous substances confined to both igneous and terrigenous rocks are widespread in the Minusa intermontane trough of the Altai–Sayan region. The characteristics of bitumen from this region obtained with methods traditional for petroleum geochemistry. The formation of high-carbonic and high-molecular compounds is related to the thermal destruction of the dispersed organic matter (OM) as a result of the large-scale emplacement of basaltic magma in the Early Devonian and the subsequent condensation of sublimates in relatively cold areas.
